Event Description

Full Description:
It was ranked the 5th biggest charity in the country but many may never have heard of it.

The charity is the L.D.S Charitable Trust Fund.

The group that runs it, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Everyone interested in charity is invited to the talk and Q&A to learn about what the Charitable Trust does, what the church does overseas in humanitarian aid and how their faith underpins their work.

430 hours per year on average is the number of hours a church member in the USA volunteers.
Just think how many shows on Netflix they could watch in 430 hours or how much good we could do volunteering that much.

Everyone is welcome to join us.

Please send an email to d.hale@uq.edu.au for more information or to RSVP.
