Event Description
- Full Description:
- Topic: Safety Culture at UQ
Facilitator: Valentina Urrutia Guada (Project Manager, Strategy and Governance Team, HSW Division)
Recommended for: OHS Managers, Safety Coordinators, HSW Committee members
A key component of the current HSW Strategy is the implementation of a HSW culture program, which is expected to yield significant improvements in the safety performance of the University. The Safety Culture Project started in 2018, as a partnership with government (Office of Industrial Relations, Work Health and Safety Queensland), industry and renown experts (Professor Andrew Neal from UQ and Professor Mark Griffin from Curtin University), aiming to develop a toolkit for improving safety culture in Queensland organisations. The purpose of this workshop is to share the outcomes and learnings from this process at the University of Queensland.
