Full Description:
Professor Glenn King will headline a special series of ‘Meet the Researchers’ during National Stroke Week.
Prof Glenn King will detail how, obtaining the most extensive collection of venoms in the world, with 600 species of venomous spiders, scorpions, centipedes and assassin bugs he has harnessed a drug candidate that could improve the outcomes for stroke globally!

Prof King’s lab is working closely with several pharmaceutical companies to develop drugs for clinical use and, additionally, Prof King has also charted new territory in the field of agriculture by developing venom peptides as eco-friendly bioinsecticides.
