Event Description

Full Description:
Join us and listen to the ground-breaking research happening at UQ's Institute for Molecular Bioscience (IMB).

This is the 5th event of its series where you have the incredible opportunity to go behind the scenes and meet one of our researchers at IMB and take a tour of his laboratory!

Join us in discovering Professor David Craik’s award-winning research, including how he discovered the cyclotide family of circular proteins and characterized the structures of many animal toxins, including conotoxins from cone snail venoms. He heads a research team of 35 researchers whose current work focuses on applications of circular proteins, toxins and NMR in drug design.

Additionally, Prof Craik is the author of over 600 scientific papers and has received numerous awards for his research.

Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity to meet Prof Craik.
