- About UQ / EPIA Energy Exchange Series
Commencing in 2011, the Energy Exchange Series was designed to facilitate constructive, informed and robust debate on energy policy.
Series objectives:
- To contribute to energy and climate policy debate by facilitating a greater understanding of energy issues at a local and international level.
- To facilitate constructive, informed and broad industry discussion of global energy issues.
The Energy Exchange Series is not a vehicle for advancing policy advocacy on specific immediate policy issues that are in play. Its purpose is to contribute towards the development of a more informed energy discourse that will ultimately lead to better energy policy. The speakers are chosen on the basis of their recognised expertise and leadership related to energy. The organisers have no influence on the content of their presentations other than determining the range of issues we would like them to speak about.
Audience:
The target audience consists of leaders from industry, government officials, consultants, NGOs, academia, legal firms etc with an interest in energy and climate policy. Attendance is open to all, however priority is given to those on the stakeholder/guest list. Each event can cater for up to 200 attendees, and registration is essential.
