LeadHers is open to all female students, staff and recent alumni from all backgrounds and levels at the University of Queensland. The program aims to support women to become more confident in their leadership capabilities, while exploring common challenges most professional female leaders face in their career.
This six-week program has two components: three sessions will focus on the experience of outstanding women entrepreneurs, researchers and managers, who will share their story and insights with the attendees, as well as participate in a Q&A session and networking activity. The other three sessions will be hands-on workshops where you will be asked to present and work on each others careers' challenges.
As part of the program, you will also gain access to our members-only co-working space, where you can network and collaborate with other like-minded participants.
UQ students who complete the program will be eligible to apply for the #UQStartupAdventure – our four-week international internships in global startup hotspots from Shanghai, San Fran, Tel Aviv & Singapore, supported by a full scholarship. Applications to our next Startup Adventure to Shanghai and Singapore will open early March - find out more information here!
Open to all UQ students, staff and alumni.
LeadHers begins Wednesday 6 March and runs every Wednesday for six weeks from 4-6pm. You are required to attend all six workshops.
