Full Description:: The UQ School of Music invites all UQ students to audition for a place in the UQ Chorale, the UQ Chamber Singers, the UQ Symphony Orchestra and the UQ Winds. These ensembles perform each semester in such venues as the Queensland Performing Arts Centre, St John’s Cathedral, and at UQ itself, offering a wonderful opportunity to continue or renew a lifelong involvement in music and to enjoy performing alongside the Bachelor of Music (Honours) students. Eligible students may gain elective credit through the Large Ensemble courses (#2/semester) or through the concurrent Diploma in Music Performance. Alternatively, students may participate purely for enjoyment for a fee of $200/semester.
