Keynote speaker - Catherine Clark

Catherine was appointed CEO of Netball Queensland in 2015. It has been an amazing period for Netball Queensland securing $44 million in funding to construct a new State Netball facility, and the Queensland Firebirds winning back to back ANZ Championship Grand Finals.

Catherine is an experienced Board Director, CEO and Senior Executive with a background in government, the sporting and commercial sectors. Her experience as an athlete and coach has translated into a passion for achieving results by building effective high performing teams and organisations in her many leadership roles.

Catherine’s career includes senior roles in the Department of Education and Training and Sport and Recreation New Zealand; with CEO roles at GymSports New Zealand and Gymnastics Australia through the Beijing, London Olympic and Delhi Commonwealth Games Cycles.

Student speaker - Jarred Turner

Jarred is a UQ Arts student and a social entrepreneur. He leads IMPACT Social Enterprise, an education organisation that provides young people with the skills, knowledge and network to create businesses that solve social problems. He has been named Deloitte Brisbane's Social Innovator, a Young Social Pioneer by the Foundation for Young Australians, and winner of the Create Change Queensland Young Achiever Award.
