- MentorBlaze is Queensland's largest startup mentoring event, brought to you by UQ's newest startup space, ilab UQ. This is event is available to the whole community of UQ and beyond, everyone is welcome. If you know anyone who has an idea or an itch of an idea and don't know where to go for advice, MentorBlaze is a great place to start. Attendees can speak to 4 startup mentors in one evening at UQ's Flagship Startup Mentoring event.
There are a wide variety of mentors available from startup founders and intellectual property lawyers through to business accountants and angel investors. Attendees can review and book mentors prior to the event and on the night, rotate mentors every 20 minutes. The event concludes with networking drinks and is a great opportunity to build connections, find a mentor or co-founder and test ideas with experts who would ordinarily charge between $250 - 450/hour for their services.
