Event Description

Full Description:
The SAFS Researchers Society (SRS) is holding the 'Stats for Agricultural Researchers' Seminar Series this August!

The proposed activity is an applied Statistics workshop, especially designed for agricultural science researchers who work with complex samples that require advanced experimental design and statistical analyses.

SAFS academics and experienced researchers in the areas of agricultural and food science will provide a 30-minute seminar about how they’ve incorporated experimental design and statistics in their research work, and then engage in an open forum to address questions from the audience.

This event will run from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm and registration starts at 9:45 am. Questions and comments will be entertained in an open forum to be held after all guest speakers have spoken.

Morning tea will be provided after the first speaker has spoken and then a pot-luck lunch that is regularly run by SRS will be held at the conclusion of the seminars and open forum. These social activities in between and after the talks will be the moment where further questions and/or clarifications about the talks will be entertained.
