Full Description:
The HMNS Seminar will showcase the breath of the RHD projects undertaken at the School. Three PhD candidates will present their research:

- Rebecca Deuble, researching in Paralympic classification, will present a talk entitled
Development and evaluation of a battery of reciprocal tapping tasks for detecting
intentional misrepresentation in Paralympic classification
- Leigh Sperka, whose research is in curriculum and pedagogy, will discuss Brokering
and bridging knowledge in health and physical education: A critical discourse analysis
of one external provider’s curriculum and
- Luciana Torquati, whose thesis focuses on the evaluation of a workplace intervention
to improve nurses’ diet and physical activity behaviours. Her talk is entitled Efficacy and
implementation challenges of a workplace diet and physical activity intervention
