- Volunteers are needed to help plant 5,000 trees on the Gatton campus on Friday 26 February!
Join us for stage two of a two stage planting project on the banks of the Lockyer Creek. The project will remove invasive species, restore biodiversity, stabilise the Creek banks, reduce erosion, and help to improve water quality along a 1.2km stretch of the Lockyer Creek. The project directly builds on riparian restoration work previously completed along the banks of the Lockyer Creek where over 2,000 seedlings were planted.
Return transport from the UQ St Lucia campus and free lunch will be provided, as well as an opportunity to meet new people. We hope you can join us!
