Full Description:
This one day workshop targets professionals involved in research ethics review, approval and governance processes, including HREC Members, researchers, HDR students, research sponsors and research governance professionals.

Andrew Crowden brings a wealth of industry experience in universities, health institutions, and the NHMRC research requirements while Christi Favor has extensive tertiary teaching experience in moral philosophy. Together, they offer a dynamic, engaged seminar style that combines relevant case studies, critical reasoning tools, and philosophical depth to develop the practical skills of recognition, reasoning and communication about the ethical dimensions of research. You will love the opportunity to interact face-to-face with these experienced educators and other professionals grappling with human research ethics questions.
