Full Description:: SISCA, or the Sustainable Innovation Student Challenge Award, with a first prize of $10,000 is a Dow Chemical Company sponsored student competition that is organised at several universities around the world each year. It is aimed at promoting and cultivating fresh ideas, innovative thinking and new practices that balance environmental, societal and economic benefits. The competition at the University of Queensland is open to all UQ enrolled students, both graduates and undergraduates (except previous winners).

Participants are asked to submit a short document (2.500 words max). The submission deadline is Sunday the 6th of September midnight.
