Full Description:
Cardiopulmonary exercise testing is a well-established assessment in those with suspected or confirmed cardiopulmonary disease/dysfunction.
This lecture will present a new approach to CPX reporting and interpretation. A model for providing levels of evidence and class recommendations for CPX according to test indication will also be addressed.

Presenter:
Ross Arena is Professor and Head of the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Illinois Chicago. His research interests involve studying the clinical value of exercise testing and training in apparently healthy populations and patients diagnosed with cardiopulmonary disease/dysfunction. He is also involved with establishing healthy lifestyle intervention models.
