- On 12 May, 1915, the Faculty of Engineering conferred Norman Austin Lloyd and Stanley James Millar with the first UQ Mechanical Engineering degrees.
2015 marks an exciting and important year for the School of Mechanical and Mining Engineering at UQ and for our Mechanical Engineering graduates: 100 years of graduates.
You are warmly invited to join us in celebrating this special occasion with a Centenary Dinner on Saturday, 31 October 2015 from 4:00 PM in UQ's new Advanced Engineering Building.
This is a wonderful opportunity for alumni of all mechanical engineering cohorts to come together, meet friends old and new, and to celebrate their time at UQ.
