Full Description:: Please be advised of a complete road closure of Sir William Macgregor Drive from Sir Fred Schonell Drive intersection to Thynne Road intersection, 1am to 10:30am on 14 June 2015 for the Brisbane Times City2South Running Event. Please avoid parking along this route, as no access will be permitted in or out of Sir William Macgregor Drive from 4am to 10:30am. Marshalls and police will be controlling traffic during the event.

An alternative entry route is in place to allow access to the University on Sunday 14 June 2015 via Chancellor’s Place to the multi-storey car parks & lower campus, including Campbell Road, Blair Drive, University Drive and Union Road. (See attached map) UQ Security will be managing traffic and pedestrian access at the Slip Road/Mill Road thoroughfare until roads re-open at 10.30am.

Access to all Colleges on Sir William Macgregor Drive via the southern entrance of the University will remain unaffected, including the Chancellor’s Place & Staff House Road precincts.
