Full Description:: Come along and get your Orientation Week off to a fantastic start. This fun and informative event is for all commencing domestic and international students who are new to Brisbane to help you Live, Learn, Work, Play and get to know the city like a local!

The Expo will include over 30 information stalls from within UQ and the wider Brisbane area. You will be able to participate in some fun activities during the day as well as sign up for others. There will also be free giveaways, entertainment and fairy floss!

You will have a chance to chat to staff members from around the uni and meet one of our experienced Student Leaders who can answer any questions you might have about settling into uni life.

Getting Started Sessions will be running throughout the day in the Schonell Theatre (Building 22) featuring a special welcome from Senior University staff members. The Getting Started sessions are highly recommended for all new students and compulsory for all new international students. Please check the Orientation website closer to the date for exact session times.

There will also be an Accommodation Information Session running in the Steele Building (Building 03), Room 206 from 12:30pm - 1:30pm to help you get settled in and ready to start your studies and Safety Down Under Sessions in the Abel Smith Lecture Theatre (Building 24) which provides tips on how to stay safe in Australia!
