- The Queensland Friends of the Australian Archaeological Institute at Athens invite you to attend an illustrated presentation by Jacqueline Noyes. It will be an appreciation of the enormous effect of this tiny Greek island on the world in general and literature in particular. She will discuss writers as various as James Joyce, Alfred, Lord Tennyson, Kenneth Graham, Effie Desimas and Constantine Cavafy. There will also be a presentation of scenes from Homer's Odyssey. A lunch will follow.
