Full Description:: You are invited to a public lecture by Professor Andrew Hurrell.

Professor Hurrell has written the foreword to a new and revised edition of the classic edited book, by Hedley Bull and Adam Watson, on The Expansion of International Society. The book was first published thirty years ago.

In this lecture, Professor Hurrell will consider how well the book speaks to our time was it innovative in examining the question of the resiliance of international institutions after decolonisation, or was it deeply conservative in its approach?
