Full Description:: Deciding on whether or not to peruse a research degree is a big decision. Understanding the current and future academic context is important to help with your career planning. This seminar will provide practical advice on what a career in research really entails. Have the opportunity to hear from current and previous UQ Foundation Excellence Awards (UQFREAs) winners who will provide practical advice on a range of issues important to students considering a career in research such as academic career planning, grant seeking, communication and publishing.

This session is available for undergraduate students who are participating in the UQ Advantage Award.
