Full Description:: The School of History, Philosophy, Religion and Classics at the University of Queensland, in conjunction with the Australian Historical Association, has great pleasure in calling for papers for the 33rd annual conference of the Australian Historical Association to be held at the University of Queensland from 7 - 11 July 2014.

The conference theme is “Conflict in History”. This has been inspired by the fact that 2014 is the centenary of the outbreak of World War I, but the theme will be interpreted broadly. In addition to papers focused on histories of war or the home front, we welcome papers and panel proposals addressing any aspect of conflict in history.
