Aurélie obtained a joint Diplom-Engineer degree (eq. M. Sc.) in civil engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Lyon (France) and the Technische Universität Darmstadt (Germany) in 2006. She completed her PhD entitled “Numerical modelling of soil behaviour under very large numbers of cycles: time homogenisation and parameter identification” in 2010 at the Ecole Centrale de Nantes (France).

Since she joined ESSCC in 2010, her research interests include Discrete-Element modelling of the mechanics of granular materials.
