Dr. Artak Amirbekyan obtained his PhD degree from Griffith University in Brisbane, Australia with the topic "Protocols and Data Structures for Knowledge Discovery in Distributed Private Databases". He also has a Masters degree in Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing from the University of Kaiserslautern in Germany. His research interests are in the area of the numerical solution for partial differential equations and privacy-preserving data mining. He joined ESSCC in 2008.
