Learning strategies from the UQ Strategic Plan 2012-2016 include
- Promote and support opportunities for students to gain international experiences and develop global and inclusive perspectives.
- Seek to attact, support and retain high-achieving students, and prioritise the need to improve the participation and success of students from low socio-economic status (SES) and Indigenous backgrounds.
- Develop strategies to ensure the retention and success of an increasingly diverse student body.
