Learning strategies from the UQ Strategic Plan 2012-2016 include

  • Promote and support opportunities for students to gain international experiences and develop global and inclusive perspectives.
  • Seek to attact, support and retain high-achieving students, and prioritise the need to improve the participation and success of students from low socio-economic status (SES) and Indigenous backgrounds.
  • Develop strategies to ensure the retention and success of an increasingly diverse student body.

Learning Plan

The Learning Plan outlines the goals, strategies and targets used to deliver on the 'UQ Advantage', support and reward teaching excellence and enrich the teaching and learning environment. The Learning Plan builds on the previous Teaching and Learning Enhancement Plan 2008-2010, and provides a framework to deliver on the UQ Advantage by ensuring that choice and opportunity genuinely characterise the UQ student experience.
