For Staff and Supervisors
Staff may have an existing disability (pre-dating employment) or an acquired disability of a temporary or permanent nature. Those who require some adjustment to their work environment to enable them to carry out the inherent requirements of the position should discuss this with their immediate supervisor. Information about external services that may assist in this regard is available from the Occupational Health and Safety Unit through the Ergonomics and Rehabilitation Adviser.
For disabilities relating to mental health issues, staff and supervisors should contact their Human Resources Client Services Team in the first instance who can then refer them to the Staff Support and Rehabilitation Adviser.
