Members of the University community volunteer to take on various network roles coordinated by The Equity Office. Staff members and students have undergone formal training as Discrimination and Harassment Contact Officers. Equity and Diversity Information Networkers throughout the University disseminate information and provide feedback. Members of the UQ Ally Network are empathetic people who are allies of students and staff identifying as lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual, or intersex (LGBT/I).
