Navigating the Labyrinth of Leadership - Kathy Hirschfeld
In this Engaging Women Seminar Kathy identifies with an HBR article that a woman’s corporate career is more like a labyrinth than a glass ceiling.
“Rather than depicting just one absolute barrier at the penultimate stage of a distinguished career…passage through a labyrinth requires persistence, awareness of one's progress, and a careful analysis of the puzzles that lie ahead. It also needs us as leaders to recognise the obstacles and help others along the way. ”
Kathy will discuss the obstacles facing women today as they contemplate a journey through the labyrinth of leadership and will talk about the challenges she has faced in her progress to CEO of a $5 billion turnover company and now a company director.
