International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia is about showing support for sexuality, bodily and gender diverse people right across Australia, and the world, to put an end to homophobia, biphobia, transphobia and other discriminatory and bullying behaviour. It is celebrated annually across the world on the 17th May.

This year join the UQ Ally Network in the Great Court for an informal morning tea. Details of the event are below:

  • When: Wednesday 17th May, 11:30am-12:30pm
  • What: bring a plate to share and any rainbow blankets, posters, flags etc. for an informal morning tea where we can all catch up and raise awareness about the importance of IDAHOBIT day
  • Who: all are welcome! Please share with your colleagues and network and bring along anyone who can make it!
  • Where: The Great Court.
