The University of Queensland has an extremely large and diverse group of experts who work on environmental issues. They are at the forefront of developments in ecology and conservation, land and habitat rehabilitation, environmental economics, management, engineering and ethics, and many other areas . They cover virtually all ecological systems from marine to rainforest and desert, and even polar systems. With more than 170 experts working in collaboration to advance knowledge in these areas students gain significantly from interdisciplinary programs and research projects that relate to the Australian environment and the international community. Many projects are based overseas, which provides good opportunities for students to broaden their experience Our links with industry are extensive, and provide opportunities for internships, research projects and graduate employment.
