There is a wide variety of scholarships available to Bachelor of Engineering students. Some are specific to Year 12s who are about to commence their program, while others are available to students who have completed at least one year of study. Students must apply to be eligible for scholarships.
It is generally not permissable to hold more than one scholarship concurrently. The scholarships may be subject to revision and change, and their value may be assessable for Centrelink and/or income tax purposes. You are advised to contact Centrelink or the Australian Tax Office should you require more information.
Undergraduate scholarships can be divided into four broad categories:

- Students must use the undergraduate scholarship application form for all applications required to be submitted through the School of Engineering.
- Applications are required to be submitted in hard copy at the School of Engineering reception (Building 50 - Room C212).

- Applications are open for UQ Summer Research Scholarships. These scholarships offer a unique opportunity for students to obtain experience in research work. Students gain a fantastic insight into the research process and test whether research is for them.
Third Year

Fourth Year Prize
