Lianzhou Wang is currently a Professor in the School of Chemical Engineering, the University of Queensland. Before joining UQ in 2004, he worked at two leading national research institutions (NIMS and AIST) of Japan as a research fellow for five years. Prof. Wang's research focuses on the synthesis, characterisation and application of functional nanomaterials for use in cleaner and more efficient energy conversion/storage systems, including photocatalytsts, rechargeable lithium batteries, and water treatment membranes.
