Philaster was first published in 1620 in quarto format. A second quarto appeared shortly after and the play was omitted from the first folio publication (1647) because of these publications. However, it was included in the 1679 second folio publication which sought to collect as many Beaumont and Fletcher plays together as was possible. The only text available here at present is that of the second folio and it is available in the following formats:
