EMONET International Conference on Emotions and Organizational Life

Welcome to the Conference Website of the Sixth International Conference on Emotions and Worklife: Emonet VI

July 17-19, 2008
INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France

This is the sixth in the series of biannual conferences organized by the Emonet e-mail discussion group (see http://www.uq.edu.au/emonet).  The purpose of the conference is to showcase leading-edge research into the role of emotion in organizational settings.  The conference opens with a reception on the evening of Thursday, July 17, 2008, and continues with 1 1/2 days of research presentations and symposia in two streams.  Depending on submissions, the program may also include poster presentations.  A feature of the conference is the Official Conference Dinner, which will be held on the Friday evening.

The Emonet conference is being conducted in the week before the XXIX International Congress of Psychology, which is being held in Berlin, July 20-27, 2008.

A selection of conference papers will be considered for inclusion in Volumes 5 and 6 of the Annual Book Series, Research on Emotion in Organizations.

INSEAD offers excellent conference facilities, and is generously sponsoring the conference.  INSEAD is in the historic town of Fontainebleau and close to its famous chateau.  Accommodation for delegates will be available in the Hotel Ibis or at the Mecure Hotel.

Please encourage your faculty and student colleagues to join us in Fontainebleau for what promises to be another exciting and informative gathering.

We look forward to seeing you there.
