This year the 4th Asia Pacific Symposium on Emotions in Worklife is being hosted and sponsored by the Research Centre for Work Organisation and Wellbeing, Griffith Business School, Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia. The symposium is a day-long, semi-formal meeting of scholars interested in the study of emotions in work settings and will be held on Friday the 27th of November 2009.
The format of the symposium includes a keynote address and will feature paper presentations and roundtable sessions for the discussion of poster presentations. Morning tea and luncheon will be provided to all participants. Expressions of interest are sought from those who would like to attend a post-symposium dinner at a restaurant in the Southbank Parklands precinct. Further details will be made available when registrations open, however, please indicate whether you are interested in staying for dinner in your covering email when you submit your paper.
There is no registration fee for attending the symposium.
Registration, Accommodation and Program:
Advance registration for catering purposes will be required. Registration forms will be made available in the near future. Information about accommodation on and near Griffith University’s Southbank campus will be available soon for those wishing to spend one or more nights. We anticipate a full program, beginning by 9:00am and running until 5:00pm or later if you are staying for the dinner function.
