UQ pathway
At the University of Queensland (UQ), Leading Curriculum Change participants accepted into a School of Education postgraduate coursework program can submit one or both LCC Learning Portfolios for consideration for recognition of prior learning credit. Each LCC Learning Portfolio will be considered for two units of credit.
Are you eligible for your preferred postgraduate coursework program?
At UQ, you can check your eligibility for a variety of education postgraduate coursework programs by entering 'Postgraduate education' at Program Information. (http://www.uq.edu.au/study/)
Does your preferred university have a policy for recognising prior learning?
UQ: yes. After successfully enrolling in a postgraduate coursework program, you can apply for recognition of prior learning.
Does your preferred university accept the portfolio of work from LCC as evidence of prior learning for credit?
UQ: yes. For each LCC Learning Portfolio, you can apply for two units of credit towards your chosen education postgraduate coursework program.
Does your preferred university need to see your graded LCC Learning Portfolio?
UQ: yes. Once you have enrolled in your chosen education postgraduate coursework program, you should submit your graded LCC Learning Portfolio/s for credit consideration.
Then assemble the LCC Package.
Follow the instructions provided at the LCC website. You will need to enrol in your chosen education postgraduate coursework program (application processing time of approximately three weeks) before you can formally submit your LCC Advanced Learning Package to the School of Education at UQ (application processing time of approximately three to four weeks).
