Current Research Higher Degree Students

The School of Education has over 100 research higher degree students studying a diverse range of research areas in education. Approximately 30 percent of the School's research higher degree students are international students, coming from a range of countries in Asia and Europe.

Programs offered:

Master of Philosophy

Duration: 2 years full-time equivalent

Entry requirements: Approved honours degree or Bachelor’s degree with at least honours class II
Students intending to undertake a Master of Philosophy should make an appointment with the Chair of Research and Postgraduate Studies, Professor Robyn Gillies, (07) 336-56541 or  r.gillies@uq.edu.au before applying.

PhD

Duration: 3-4 years full-time

Entry requirements: Honours degree or Bachelor’s degree with honours class I or IIA or a Masters degree with a thesis and research method course making up 1/3 of the programme. (Other qualifications may be considered for entry.)
