The School of Education aims to foster and develop research and dialogue with regard to educational theory, policy and practice within a global context.
The School has a research culture which has been sustained for many years through a strong postgraduate research program composed of a large number of Australian and overseas students and consistent success in publications and research grants.
Research focus of the School depends on the emerging scholarship of both staff and students, but generally includes three main areas:
- Special populations, inclusion and cognition
- Pedagogy and curriculum
- Professional practice, policy and leadership
