 Postgraduate Research Programs

The School provides a variety of ways of studying as well as a range of programs in education, and offers new and interesting opportunities for students and staff in teaching, learning, research and professional development.

As a student of the School of Education you become part of a team creating and developing knowledge and practice in the field of education. There is a vibrant research culture in the School which provides an opportunity for students to contribute to new research ideas, to participate in publication and research projects, and to engage with educational leaders and scholars from Asia, North America, Europe and the Pacific. Students are encouraged to take part in Research Interest Groups as well as to attend research seminars, weekend workshops and conferences organised in the School of Education. These research activities focus on key areas of work within the school: language and literacy learning, adolescence and ‘at risk' youth, multiliteracies and new technologies, educational policy and social change, "productive pedagogies" and learning, curriculum reform and school leadership, culture and identity.
