At drop-in advising sessions, you may request assistance / information regarding:

  • The timetable
  • Changing to an Education dual degree program
  • Course selection
  • Enrolment issues
  • Practicum placements
  • Blue Card applications
  • General academic advising

Drop-in sessions are available in rooms 406 and 407 (building 24) on a first-come first-served basis.

  • First and last name
  • Student number
  • A number of suitable times
  • A brief outline of the purpose of your visit
  • A contact phone number

You will be contacted by return email of the date and time. 

All students wishing to speak with the Practicum Placements Coordinator may attend a Drop-in Advising Session at the St Lucia campus (please see table above) or may email questions to prac@uq.edu.au.  The following information must be included in the email:

  • First and last name
  • Student number
  • Program and progress within the program (e.g B Education (Primary) and first year)
  • A contact phone number
