This partnership is a credit transfer agreement between the UQ Faculty of Business Economics and Law and the Department of Economics at Tamkang University Taiwan (TKU).

One-plus-one dual Master Program – Master of International Economics and Finance

This program is available to TKU students at the Department of Economics. All TKU students entering the dual master program will be required to satisfy UQ’s entry requirements prior to enrolment at UQ. TKU students must have successfully completed their bachelor degrees with an average of 70% (60% is a pass) and pass the four TKU postgraduate courses assessed and recognised by UQ to meet the academic entry requirement for the UQ Master of International Economics and Finance program. After completing the UQ master degree, students who return to TKU to complete the master thesis and credit requirements will obtain the TKU master degree.

TKU students will be eligible for maximum credit of 8 (4 courses) towards the master program after the successful completion of the above TKU courses at TKU. Credit will only be granted for those courses where a student has achieved a passing grade which is equivalent to a UQ grade of 4 on a 7 point scale. After completing the UQ master degree, students who return to TKU to complete the master thesis and credit requirements will obtain the TKU master degree.

Three-plus-two TKU Bachelor and UQ Master Program – International Economics and Finance

TKU students entering this program will be required to satisfy UQ’s entry requirements prior to enrolment at UQ. TKU bachelor students will study three years at TKU and then go to UQ for two semesters for study abroad and one year (two semesters) of master studies. Each TKU student will pay the Study Abroad tuition fee for the two semesters of study abroad and then pay the international fee for the remaining two semesters of master’s studies.

Year 5 Semester 1 Study Masters at UQ.
  Semester 2 Study Master at UQ . TKU students will receive the UQ master degree upon successful completion of their master studies at UQ.
