Shandong University - China
The School of Economics at The University of Queensland and The School of Economics at Shandong University have, over the last 11 years established a strong international partnership. This partnership includes the establishment of student and academic mobility, articulation, university collaboration and international research. As part of this relationship undergraduate and postgraduate students from Shandong University have the option to apply to complete their studies with The University of Queensland’s School of Economics.
In order to be eligible for entry into either the Bachelor of Economics Program or The UQ School of Economics Postgraduate Course Work Programs Students from Shandong University must meet both the academic and English proficiency requirements.
All students entering into either the Bachelor of Economics or a Coursework Masters Program must meet the UQ English Language Requirements.
All applications must be made directly through the Shandong University School of Economics
Undergraduate
Students from Shandong University will be eligible for 16 units (8 courses) of credit towards the Bachelor of Economics program after successful completion of the following Shandong University undergraduate courses:
Academic requirements
- 70% or above at Shandong University for the undergraduate study for the undergraduate articulation;
- Completed Advanced Mathematics at SDU with 60% or above.

Commencement
Students undertaking the 2+2 program may commence at UQ in either semester 1 (February) or 2 (July).
All students are advised to contact the faculty of Business Economics and Law on arrival to discuss an appropriate study plan.

Shandong University Credit Transfer
Masters 1+1
Students from Shandong University seeking entry into the course work masters will be eligible for 8 units (4 courses) of credit towards a course work masters program and would allow students to complete the 3-semester Masters program in two full-time semesters, at UQ commencing in Semester 2 of the year and followed by Semester 1 of the following year.
