Students who have completed the Diploma in Economics through the London School of Economics (LSE) External Program can apply for entry into second year of the three year Bachelor of Economics program at UQ.
All LSE students entering into the Bachelor of Economics through this agreement will be required to satisfy UQ’s entry requirements prior to enrolment at UQ.
Credit Transfer for the Bachelor of Economics Program
Students from LSE’s (External Program) Diploma in Economics will be eligible for 16 units (8 courses) of credit towards the Bachelor of Economics program after successful completion of the following Diploma in Economics courses:

Students who have been granted the above credit will be required to study 32 units (16 courses) at UQ to finish the Bachelor of Economics degree. Credit will only be for those courses where a student has met the required minimum grades (The UQ grading system. 4 is a pass on a 7 point scale).
This arrangement will apply to the standard Bachelor of Economics program and for students who would like to undertake one of the BEcon specialisations:
