| Profile |
Fabrizio’s postgraduate research focused mainly on the interactions between politics and macroeconomic dynamics and related econometric applications. He has subsequently expanded his areas of specialization to include open economy macroeconomics, game theory, international financial integration, regional economic integration, and econometric analysis. Fabrizio’s most recent research interests focus on development economics (the role of fiscal policy in developing countries in particular) and applied economics (the estimation of system of endogenous equations in particular). Between 2002 and 2008 he worked as economist for the United Nations Regional Economic Commissions in Africa (Cameroon and Ethiopia) and at the headquarters in Geneva. This work experience brought him to develop a keen interest in policy modeling issues. Fabrizio also worked as consultant for the World Bank on anti-corruption policies. He has published his articles in journals like The Journal of International Money and Finance, The Journal of African Economies, The Journal of Macroeconomics, The Scottish Journal of Political Economy, The Journal of Economic Surveys, Economic Letters, The BE Journal of Macroeconomics, and the Economics Bulletin. He has also contributed several chapters to academic books and published articles on francophone academic reviews. He is referee of various academic journals.
