Giving to UQ Economics
From the foundation of The University of Queensland, alumni, staff, students and friends have assured its success through generous philanthropic support.
We are committed to building our capacity to welcome any able student from around the world, irrespective of their background and to graduate flexible, broad-thinking, culturally-aware individuals and future leaders of the 21st century.
Strengthening our position further to respond to the challenges of the 21st century will require ongoing and innovative partnerships with alumni and stakeholders to build support and advocacy for the University's mission.
The generous philanthropy of our alumni and community, whether through advocacy, service or financial contributions, provides invaluable support to the University and its goals of helping solve local and global issues of scale and impact to diverse people, groups and communities.
Philanthropists from the University's broad community of friends and alumni also support areas of teaching and learning and discovery through scholarships, bequests, endowments, professional chairs, and funding for research, cultural initiatives, technology and emerging needs.
Today we invite you to continue the tradition by supporting The UQ School of Economics. Please contact Louise West if you would like to discuss this further with complete confidentiality - how your gift to our school can have the greatest impact, and to explore strategic, tax-efficient ways to provide support.
