The Duchesne College Alumnae Association has been in recess for a number of years and the College is now looking to re-establish the Alumnae Association Committee. The College would be interested in hearing from all ex-Duchesne students. We encourage all ex-Duchesne students to send us their details in order not to miss out on future events. If returning via email please save the document and attach it to your email in order for us to receive it in the correct format.

The Duchesne College Alumnae is proud to announce that in 2009, it will once again provide financial assistance to students of the College. In previous years, the Alumnae provided a bursary (which was later adopted by the College Council and is now known as the Joan Percy Dove Bursary).

Events

Duchesne College Alumnae held a Luncheon for all ex-students on Sunday 22 June 2008.

“A short update presentation was delivered at the Alumnae lunch by Andrea Webb-Jolly (nee Webb 1986-1988 inc) of the Core Group and a copy is attached.  Please note the following key points:

• The Duchesne Alumnae is in the final stages of Incorporation, due for completion July/August 2008. All previously paid Life Memberships will be honoured. More information about memberships to follow.
• The Inaugural AGM of the Duchesne Alumnae Inc is scheduled for 5.30 pm, Tuesday 2 September 2008 at the College, all welcome. Nominations for the positions of President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary and general committee members are also welcome. Please email duchesne.college@mailbox.uq.edu.au, indicating it is an Alumni Issue, and your message will be forwarded to us.
• The Duchesne Alumnae is planning to provide a bursary to assist current and future students of Duchesne. If you would like to be involved please email duchesne.college@mailbox.uq.edu.au, indicating it is an Alumni Issue, and your message will be forwarded to us.
