Duchesne is committed to the development of the student’s full intellectual potential. It is the aim of the College to monitor the progress of students, provide help where necessary and promote awareness and appreciation of academic achievement.

A College tutorial program is also provided whereby students at the College can receive weekly assistance in many subject areas. This service is provided at no extra cost to the students. Weekly timetables are made available.

The Joan Percy-Dove Library, one of only a few remaining College libraries, is also a resource centre which has a number of computer terminals available for student use. The Library has an excellent collection of some 5,000 publications from most disciplines, and also subscribes to a number of highly regarded magazines and journals.
