Diversity Week 2009 - In Others' Shoes

Diversity Week 2009 was held from 25–29 May with the theme "In Others' Shoes" which encouraged the University and community to ‘walk in the shoes’ of someone from a different background, with alternate attributes, abilities, religious beliefs, from another culture, in an opposing gender or from a different generation.

The highlight of Diversity Week was The Vice Chancellors Equity and Diversity Week Awards, a free event and panel discussion that was held in the UQ Centre on Thursday 28 May 2009.
