In Others’ Shoes challenges staff, students and the wider community to consider the world through multiple lenses – to reflect upon how a person’s worldviews are shaped by the people and societal beliefs around them.

Staff and students are encouraged to get involved through participating in the various activities that will be held during the week.

The Vice-Chancellor's Equity and Diversity Awards is a free event open to UQ staff and their guests, and students.

Staff are encouraged to consider organising an activity, event or showcase relevant work. The nature of your activity or event is limited only by your imagination; it is not essential to stick to the theme.

The Equity Office staff are happy to discuss your planned event or activity and for more ideas, view previous years' events and activities.

Apply for a Diversity Week grant to help with some of the costs (such as catering, printing etc).
(Note: Diversity Grant applications close on Tuesday, April 5, 2009)
