UQ Wellness is happy to offer staff an opportunity to attend the first lunchbox seminar for 2011 – “The benefits of Yoga – assist your body so it supports you”. Shaktiprem Blaschke, a yoga instructor with over 20 years experience, will discuss the benefits of yoga, focusing on stretching exercises that can assist us when we spend large parts of our day working at a computer.

This discussion will be followed by some seated yoga moves that let you experience the refreshing effects straight away.

To provide as many staff as possible an opportunity to participate, two seminars will be held from 12.15pm–1pm and 1.15pm-2pm on Monday, February 28. Both seminars will be held in the Duhig Conference Room, SS&H Library. There is no need to register for these seminars – just bring your lunch and enjoy the talk.
